Rally brings campus community together to protest governor's budget
The day after the governor announced his "May Revise" budget proposal, which would cut K-14 public education by 4.3 billion dollars, members of the San Jose Evergreen Community College District family joined in a noon-time protest.

The CFT is working on coordinated efforts with other education organizations and allies in the labor movement and broader community to convince the public and elected officials in Sacramento that at least some of the budget deficit must be made up through fair tax policies.
