February 11 — California Federation of Teachers members wore blue on February 10, as AFT members across the country answered a call from the national union to support President Barack Obama's economic stimulus package with a fashion statement.  The legislation, nearing passage, was in danger of losing important pieces of education funding as a compromise to secure Republican votes.  Above, members of the Greater Santa Cruz Federation of Teachers gathered in the Soquel High School library at lunch for this photo.
