CFT and coalition partners keep Democratic Party neutral on Prop 1A |

April 26, 2009 — Delegates to the California Democratic Convention voted today to stay neutral on Propositions 1A, D, and E and to support 1B, 1C and 1F. The Democratic legislative leadership fought hard to get all "yes" votes but couldn't achieve the 60 percent requirement to endorse. The CFT opposes all propositions on the ballot except Prop 1B, and its delegates to the convention played a major role in blocking the party's endorsement of Prop 1A.
