Division Councils
Formulating policy for member constituents
The union’s Division Councils meet regularly to share information and to formulate policy proposals. It is important to send a representative from your local union to attend these meetings so your local can be part of the decision-making. All members are welcome to attend.
This fall, the Division Councils will meet the same day State Council convenes on October 5. Please note that a full breakfast is served before the Division Council meetings to welcome members who will be traveling to Oakland. Council agendas are emailed to the constituent local unions.
To assist CFT in event planning, please register your attendance if you will be attending a Division Council meeting and/or State Council.
